A collection of over 4400 photographs of forest pests including insects, diseases, weeds, invasive organisms, and other damage agents. There are also pictures illustrating silvicultural practices (planting, thinning, harvesting, etc.) as well as photographs of plants, wildlife, people, places, and scenes. Scientific and common names, descriptions, and location where the photograph was take are included with most of the images. The copyrighted photographs may be freely downloaded but registration (free) is required for some higher resolution photos.

A site developed to further science education in elementary and secondary schools, written in easy-to-understand language, that investigates the migration of the Monarch butterfly. Included are photos of the butterfly, its larvae, pupae, roosts, and food. There is information about the insect?s biology including its life cycle, anatomy, genetics, sensory systems, predators, and more. Additionally, there is information about both growing and identifying various types of milkweed, the Monarch larvae's exclusive food. Also provided is information about gardening for butterflies, rearing Monarchs, and projects for teachers in the classroom. Included is a resource list and glossary.
