National Coming Out Project
This project from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) "promotes honesty and openness about being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender on campus, in the workplace and in the community. It is an extension of HRC's National Coming Out Day [observed annually on October 11] founded by activists who believed that GLBT people needed to be visible and that equality could not be achieved from the closet."
