"This Web site was designed and developed to support the teaching of American History in K-12 schools and colleges." It highlights events in history of the U.S. from the time of the indigenous people to the present, using digitized documents, audio and video clips, and essays. Includes timelines, maps, oral histories, lesson plans, glossaries, links to other websites, and more. From the University of Houston, in partnership with several museums and archives.
